30 Day Book Challenge - Day 30

Day 30: The book you are reading right now.

I am currently reading The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan (because it has been on my shelf for two years and I need to catch up on the series) and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain because I want to be ahead in school and I could possibly be changing schools very shortly where the other school has it as a summer reading book.

30 Day Book Challenge - Day 29

Day 29: An author you wish was more well known.

Oh my, I have no idea. I don’t really read a lot of books by unknown authors, but if I had to pick, Gloria Whelan just because she is the author of my favorite book and neither her nor the book are well known to the people I talk to.

30 Day Book Challenge - Day 26

Day 26: Your favorite type of nonfiction book.

Mythology is one of my favorite things in the world. I strive to learn more about all of the ancient religions (because they were) out there. My favorite would have to be Greek, so I think that my favorite nonfiction book would have to be those about Greek mythology. That, or the ones about the kings and queens of England.

30 Day Book Challenge - Day 24

Day 24: Your favorite series.

Hands down my favorite book series would have to the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series, conjoined with the Heroes of Olympus. Though they are different, they can very much be within the same. I have strong fangirl feelings over people who read the books. They are my favorite.

30 Day Book Challenge - Day 23

Day 23: A book you once hated, but now love. What happened?

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I first read it in 8th grade for school, and I thought it was the most boring book ever. But, after I moved into 9th grade, we had to read it again. And then again after I moved in the middle of the year. So, reading it twice more after that gave me a new perspective and I ended up loving it.

30 Day Book Challenge - Day 22

Day 22: A book you once loved, but don’t anymore. What happened?

Well, it’s a series of books actually. The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. I started reading the fourth book and I couldn’t finish it. It is possible I forgot what was going on, because it had been a while since I read the third one. It just hit me I couldn’t follow it well, so I stopped. I loved the first one and was hooked, but as time went on and I stopped reading as much as I used to, they stopped being good. I am going to reread the ones I have read and get the last three. I want to own the books, just to finish the series. I am picky like that, so I have to finish the series out.
